This is an entry level position and provides a great opportunity for a recent graduate to grow in a fast paced start-up environment. We are a small but growing team, located few blocks from the beach in Santa Monica.
Responsibilities:
- Web application development (LAMP Stack)
- Machine learning and NLP Research
- BS, Masters or PhD in computer science or related technical discipline (or equivalent work experience)
- Strong background in PHP application development environment
- Excellent experience with Object Oriented Programming and MVC framework (Zend framework).
- Strong understanding of SQL and optimization techniques for very large databases.
- Strong background in AI, machine learning, NLP and data mining (preferred).
- Willing to take ownership of the project (self-starter)
- Desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced start-up
- Ability to meet tight deadlines
- Goal and result oriented
- Have an interest in shaping company’s culture.
