VIDEO - Navigating on the inside with IndoorAtlas

Ubiquitous GPS technology has changed the way we navigate from place to place, but has surprisingly little to offer for navigating inside these spaces. IndoorAtlas is a young company hoping to change this by exploiting magnetic field detection already built-in to smartphones to create simple indoor navigation systems. The video demonstrates how users can overlay indoor floor plans over geographical maps, and then "train" the specific magnetic profile of that building, which others can then use to navigate.
