VIDEO - Exohand grabs attention at Hanover fair

German engineering firm Festo revealed the Exohand, a robotic glove system designed to remotely simulate and enhance the gripping capabilities of a human hand, at the recent Hanover trade fair. A controller glove is worn that provides real-time feedback from the experiences of the remote-controlled robotic hand. Though only in the initial stages of development, the Exohand could have a wide range of important applications from human prosthetics to increased safety in performing hazardous tasks.
