Senator Coons Ready to Introduce the "The Strong Patent Act of 2015"

Senator Coons is expected to introduce his competing patent reform bill into the Senate this week under the title Strong Patents Act. As the name suggests, these provisions here tend to strongly favor patent holders. The provisions of Coons’ bill are expected to differ substantially from the reform bill already on the floor.  Analysts suggest that there is little to hope of enacting the new bill, but supporters might be after no more than its strong potential to create gridlock.
