Security Company Sues City of Austin for Patent Infringement

Plano-based 3rd Eye Surveillance LLC filed a patent infringement lawsuit against Austin, Texas last week. The complaint alleges that the city is infringing one or more claims of its patents through the continued use of security cameras, and that as a result the company has suffered "substantial" damage and "irreparable" injury.
