Samsung Files Electric Vehicle Patents

According to the Wall Street Journal consumer electronics giant Samsung has filed for several patents in the US and South Korea related to electric vehicles. The patents cover technologies ranging from engines to onboard electronics and tires. Despite the speculation, Samsung claims that it has no plans to actually manufacture and deliver electric vehicles to market.
