Prescription for Jakafi to be filled by OncologyRx Care Advantage
Incyte Corporation has chosen OncologyRx Care Advantage, a McKesson Specialty Health pharmacy that specializes in oral oncology products, to distribute its Jakafi drug. Approved by the FDA, Jakafi is an oral medicine which is currently the only drug used to treat myelofibrosis. OncologyRx Care AdvantageTM helps provide patients with safe, convenient, and monitored (if desired) oral medication for the treatment of myelofibrosis. The pharmacy’s specialist team supports patients with many different approaches to ensure maximal assistance including side effect management, co-pay assistance motoring, and education about proper drug use. Only another select few specialty pharmacies have been chosen across the United States to dispense Jakafi to patients.
