Poll: Do you support software patents
Hacker news surveys developers on whether they supported software patents or not. Overwhelming majority is against them. I'm know sure if mass opinion is the best way to resolve the issue, but it's interesting to hear their voices.

Haha, big surprise, almost NO ONE likes them. I think it's a huge sign that something is wrong when almost none of the people who would be creating the kind of stuff that gets a software patent thinks they are a good idea!
