Northrop Grumman Corporation, has accepted a $96 million award, making it one of the five major defense contractors on the Missile Defense National Team led by Lockheed Martin. The C2BMC (Command, Control, Battle Management and Communications) program is a subdivision of the Missile Defense National Team and works to combine all aspects of the nation’s ballistic missile defense system. While Northrop Grumman will generally aid the Missile Defense National Team to further development and manage current projects, it will more particularly assist the C2BMC.
