Nanotech inspired surface makes glass fog-free

MIT mechanical engineers developed a glass that prevents fogging and minimizes glare. A novel process to modify the surface textures of glass, creating a surface that water droplet and dirt bounce right off of. Once an inexpensive manufacturing process is developed, the researchers anticipate that this glass could be useful in a variety optical applications from camera lenses to windshields -- even to our smartphone, television, and laptop screens.
