Intellectual Ventures Reported to be Raising up to $3 Billion

As Intellectual Ventures' patent acquisition rate has been decreasing, reports are surfacing of a new round of capital coming in to the Myhrvold led company. Reuters cites sources familiar with IV"s operations in an article claiming the new round of capital could be as large as $3 billion dollars.
