Google Patents Lie-Detecting Throat Tattoo
Google owned Motorola has filed a US patent application for a "system and method" to tattoo a mobile-device microphone with lie-detector circuitry onto your throat. The technology could solve the problem of strained telephone conversations in "large stadiums, busy streets, restaurants, and emergency situations." Equipped with a display that can light up the tattoo may also include a microphone for emitting sound corresponding to fluctuations of muscle or tissue in the throat.
