Goodrich to showcase advanced helicopter systems at Army Aviation Association of America 2012

Goodrich Corporation, at next week's Army Aviation Association of America (AAAA) will showcase its extensive product line that supports Army Aviation. Goodrich will display its sensor systems, surveillance systems, threat detection systems, power transmission, crash resistant seating, rescue hoists, engine components and advanced composite structures specific to the needs of the Army. Goodrich (booth 810) is partnering with the Army to provide solutions that: reduce the weight of Army aircraft with composite materials, improve operational readiness with health monitoring technology such as IVHMS on UH-60 Black Hawks and lower costs and increase reliability with combat proven, damage tolerant drive train systems. Additionally, Goodrich has redesigned components that remain on the aircraft up to 10 times longer, such as the Reliability Enhanced Stabilator Actuator (RESA) -- a flight critical component aiding in aircraft stabilization -- to reduce operational and maintenance costs.
