Freescale charges three companies with patent infringement | Austin Business Journal

Austin-based Freescale Semiconductor Inc . has filed a complaint with federal officials charging three companies with patent infringement. Bloomberg reported on Tuesday the U.S. International Trade Commission agreeing to investigate the claims regarding technology used in televisions. Freescale (NYSE: FSL) filed the complaint against Funai Electric Co. , Mediatek Inc. and Zoran Corp. on July 8.
