Dear Patexia,
Is there a policy concerning scientific publications which provide certain pre-publication dates such as "Received Jan 11, 2005. Accepted July 6, 2005." These dates indicate that an editorial staff had access to the disclosure; but the extent of revisions, if any, to the disclosure would not be subject to public documentation requirements (as patent filings are, for example).

Hi Brochacho. Thanks for the great question. For Prior Art, the date of interest is when the document was first publicly available. For scientific publications, that would be the date of publication or date of presentation (e.g. conference proceedings). Let me know if you have any other questions!
