Biography
Dr. Wanat is an award winning Cornell educated PhD chemist with 30+ years of experience in the chemical industry and 10 personal US patents plus over 25 additional patents granted to his group. Dr. Wanat has led research and development initiatives around the world. He served as scientist, global director of research, director of manufacturing, and CTO for multi-billion dollar chemical companies including Rohm and Haas, Arkema, and Bostik. He specializes in chemicals, plastics, polymers, materials, and adhesives. Dr. Wanat has strong experience in chemistry, plastics, polymers, materials, adhesives, coatings, product liability, failure analysis, patents, and intellectual property. He has been retained as expert on: 23+ legal cases including 14+ intellectual property cases (11+ PGRs and IPRs); 5+ depositions and 3 expert testimony at trial and arbitration.
