When you’re on the International Space Station, it’s a very long commute to the nearest drug store. In this interview, NASA Flight Surgeon Ed Powers discusses how flight doctors work with crew members on board the station to keep the astronauts healthy and make sure they have a variety of medical materials, and the training to use them, on hand. Powers also talks about the impacts of advances in space medicine to life here on earth.
