Verizon offers data sharing plans

This morning, Reuters reports that Verizon is going to offer data plans that allows usage to be shared across multiple devices. The plan, which allows users to purchase a bulk of data usage an pay an activation fee for each device they want to share that data with, seems targeted to multiple-device users. The plan could be attractive for families or couple who are looking to share data as well. Verizon touts the plan change as more "worry-free" for the user, but I've little doubt that their goal is simply to get customers to use the network more. Analysts expect other major wireless companies to follow suit.
