US hedge fund Hayman Capital Management plans to take on big pharma over patents

Kyle Bass, founder of US hedge fund Hayman Capital Management, announced at a conference in Oslow that his fund will take on big pharma over patents. They plan to use the Inter Partes Review (IPR) process established by the USPTO to target patents that they claim are expanded versions of old patents based on nothing more that changing the dosage or the packaging.
