Toshiba develops a new lineup of 600V system power MOSFETs for use with chargers and lighting systems

Toshiba has developed a new lineup of 600V system power MOSFETs for use with chargers and lighting systems, to the small package products in their planer structure π-MOS VII series. These new MOSFETs have gate charge capacity (Qg) characteristics about 40% lower than the previous generation models through optimized chip design, enabling accelerated switching. In addition, these products are mounted on the DPAK (surface mount) or the New Pw-Mold2 (straight lead) package, supporting a smaller set size. Among the features developed are a wider product lineup that includes the existing lineup and high avalanche diode resistance. The new MOSFETS can be used for LED/ballast lighting systems and as the primary side of small chargers for mobile phones and game consoles.
