SENSIO Granted Key European Patents

SENSIO Technologies, Inc. announced yesterday that the European Patent Office has issued EP2083574 which enables users to switch the viewing mode of a 3D video feed from 3D to 2D and vice versa. The patent rights associated with this S2D Switch technology are exclusively licensed to W-LAN and as part of that agreement Wi-LAN had pledged to assist SENSIO with prosecution of patent applications related to the technology. This European Patent and a Japanese Patent announced on May 1st of this year are the direct result of the collaboration between the two companies.
