Huawei and ZTE to Sue Xiaomi and Others for Patent Infringement

Chinese telecommunications companies Huawei and ZTE have reportedly taken legal action against mobile phone makers Xiaomi, OPPO, and Vivo for infringing some of their WCDMA patents. Xiaomi, which shipped 18 million smartphones during the third quarter of this year alone, is currently the world's third-largest smartphone maker with 5.3% of the global market.
