Fiserv and FIS Drop Appeals and Settle Patent Dispute

Earlier this week, Fiserv and FIS, a global banking and payment technology company, resolved a long-running patent dispute. The Patent Trial and Appeal Board found all four Fiserv patents unpatentable back in December 2014, but the two companies just reached an agreement where all appeals will be dropped and no monetary payment will be made by either party.
