Federal court denies Samsung appeals

When Samsung appealed Judge Lucy Koh's decision to impose an import injunction last month, the prospects of winning an appeal were slim. Samsung currently cannot sell it's Galaxy 10.1 tablet in the US, a fact reaffirmed by the federal appellate court today. This rejected appeal seems to mean that Samsung has no other option but to slightly redesign the Galaxy tab before selling in the US. In the end, I don't imagine it will be too much of a hassle, especially given the 10.1's success worldwide, but this signals an undoubted victory for Apple in the overall patent wars.
