EU Examines Unified Patent Litigation System

During the recent session of the European Competitiveness Council, held on September 29, the European ministers in charge of intellectual property issues had an exchange of views on the draft agreement for the creation of a unified European Union (EU) patent litigation system. The European Commission (EC) is reported to be giving high priority to patent reform.
