Draft Indian IP strategy aims to kickstart patent market

India's first think tank proposal for a ‘National IPR Policy’ is out and working on making sure IP is a core part of the nations development agenda.  The proposal outlines administrative and procedural reforms necessary to create “an India where intellectual property rights promote advancement in science and technology” and “an India where knowledge is the main driver of development”.
