Hi Anki. That's a great question. The reason for question 7 is that the disconnect/reconnect cycle asked for in question 6 could be accomplished electronically by turning the power to the USB device off and then on. As such, question 7 asks specifically if this electronic simulation of disconnect/reconnect is done so that the device doesn't lose power at any time. This is different from question 6 which asks that the USB device doesn't have to be removed/reinserted during this process.
