Im confused on the for sale in U.S..  Does this mean that each reference has to explicitly show that it was for sale.  For example I have found the dead on software, but it appears to be from another country.  Somehow I need to find some proof that it was for sale in the U.S.?  A scholarly article that doesnt explain a way to buy it wouldnt be acceptable, correct?

Andy ChuHi John. The nice thing about software is that the bar is fairly low. If it's available for purchase by someone in the US and is on computers in the US (e.g. installed on a customer's computer, installed on a customer's server, or software-as-a-service from servers base din the US), then it will be acceptable. Hope this helps!
