Injunction: Apple wins battle over Galaxy

The legal battle raging between Apple and competitor Samsung in San Jose may not have reached an end, but it's passed a significant turning point. And the news is no good for Samsung: the court found that Samsung's Galaxy Tab 10.1 infringes on one particular Apple design patent. The result is that Samsung is banned from selling this mobile device in the United States. The two companies will go through an appeal process this summer, but Apple's position is much stronger. In the end, Samsung will likely need to modify the design of the tablet if it wants to sell in the U.S. market uninhibited.
